When bleeding is obvious after accidental injury, self-rescue measures should be taken to stop bleeding immediately before the doctor arrives. The common hemostasis methods are as follows:
(1) Finger pressing hemostasis: Press blood vessel with finger or palm near the heart end of hemorrhage to stop bleeding.
(2) Pressurized bandage hemostasis method: cover the bleeding place with clean cloth, and then press bandage or cloth strip to bandage hemostasis.
(3) tourniquet hemostasis method: used for massive hemorrhage of limbs, the upper end of the bleeding part is tightly bound with a rubber tube, and the upper end of the bleeding part can be bound with cloth strips and tightly twisted with a wooden stick for hemostasis when conditions are not met.
