The gauze is folded or cut to just the size of the wound. In order to prevent wound infection, during the process of folding or cutting the gauze, care should be taken not to make direct contact with the part in contact with the wound. Butterfly band-aids are especially effective for fixing wounds. If you have a butterfly band-aid on your hand, be careful to stick it properly. The wound should be covered laterally (not covered by the length of the wound) to adhere to the wound.
Glue the edges of the gauze with a medicinal tape. Be careful not to use sticky tape such as duct tape to prevent tearing of the skin during tearing.
