WHO: More Than 6 Million Cases Confirmed In Novel Coronavirus

According to the latest data released by the World Health Organization on June 1, the number of newly diagnosed cases in the world has exceeded 6 million.


According to the data, as of 1355 hours central European time on the 1st, the total number of newly diagnosed cases in the world has reached 6057853, with 371,166 deaths.


Among them, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the United States was 1,734,040. This was followed by 498440 in Brazil, 414878 in Russia, 274766 in Britain, 239801 in Spain, 233019 in Italy, 190535 in India, 181815 in Germany, 163942 in Turkey, 155671 in Peru, 151466 in Iran and 148524 in France.


The United States is also the country with the highest number of deaths, with 102,640 cases. This was followed by 38,489 in Britain, 33,415 in Italy, 29,045 in Spain, 28,834 in Brazil and 28,746 in France.


According to WHO regional division, the Americas region has the largest number of confirmed cases, with 2817232 cases. This was followed by Europe, with 2159791 cases.
