Latex Tourniquets are disposable and meant for single use to help prevent the spread of infection and contamination among patients.
Usage method
◆ The binding position should be above the wound (near the heart) and as close as possible to the wound.
◆ After choosing the location of tourniquet, we should first lay a cloth strip, tighten the tourniquet, tie the limbs for two weeks, and tighten it appropriately so as to observe that the wound does not bleed.
Note: The tourniquet should be kept in mind. It should be relaxed for 1/2 minutes every half hour in winter and every hour in summer, and then tied up. When re-binding, the position should be slightly moved up and down. Patients with massive hemorrhage should be hospitalized as soon as possible while wearing tourniquet.
