On June 10, local time, Serbian Prime Minister Brnabic met with a Chinese anti-epidemic medical expert group that was about to leave for home. Brnabic presented Serbian soil to each member of the expert group.
Brnabic said that the Serbian government and people are grateful to China for its great support and help in the fight against the epidemic in Serbia, and to the Chinese expert group for its hard work. Experts fought side by side with Serbian medical staff, fought 82 days in Serbia, participated in more than 150 activities, and travelled all over the country. Thanks to the understanding and support of the experts' families, after the epidemic, we invite them to come to Cyprus with their families to celebrate the victory and feel the hospitality and gratitude of the Cypriot people.
Professor Lin Bingliang, a member of the medical team assisting Sierra Leone, thanked the government and people of Sierra Leone for their support, care and love on behalf of the expert group.
Late that night, Brnabic also made a special trip to the airport to see the special crew off.
China's Anti-epidemic Medical Expert Group arrived on March 21. Three of its members returned home on May 2 and another three rotating members arrived on May 4.
