If the teacher hadn't stressed to us at the scene, I wouldn't have thought I would learn some first aid knowledge. Although I have seen the relevant picture books and videos on the knowledge of manual first aid, I did not know that such knowledge was so important before.
On December 7, our small press corps went to central hospital of wuhan to learn first aid knowledge. The teacher spoke very well and let us practice first aid on a dummy model. Although my strength is not strong enough, I know what to do in an emergency.
First, call 120. Please note that you must not hang up the phone, because the uncles and aunts on the phone will immediately tell us what to do. Secondly, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED should be used to save the "golden 4 minutes" of life.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a "life-saving technique". In case of sudden cardiac arrest, rescue operations such as chest compressions should be taken so that life can be rescued in the shortest possible time. AED, that is, automated external defibrillator, is used in conjunction with cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It has voice prompts and screen displays. We need not panic when using it, but only follow the prompts strictly.
Through this activity, I learned two important first aid skills. I hope all of us can attach importance to and learn first aid skills and protect all the lives around us!
