A few days ago, there was another outbreak of collective infection in meat factories in Germany. According to German media reports, the Toennies Food Company, a meat processing company located in Gutzler County, Northern Weizhou, Germany, recently suffered from a cluster infection. As of the evening of the 17th local time, 657 employees of the enterprise had been diagnosed. The county has decided to suspend classes of primary and secondary schools and kindergartens from the 18th. Adenauer, head of the county, said that all 7,000 employees of the enterprise must be isolated.

Toennies Food Company is a large German meat enterprise. As of 2018, it has a total of 16,500 employees and annual revenue of 6.65 billion euros.

German TV quoted the latest news released that night by a spokesman for the guetersloh county government as saying that the test results for the new crown of 1050 employees of Toennies Food Company have now been released and 657 people have been tested positive. The county has ordered the Toennies Food Company to close its factory. About 1,300 workers and their families in the infected workshop have now been isolated.

It is reported that the above tests were completed on the 16th of this month, and the remaining thousands of employees of the enterprise will be tested next. Teslow County Government expects that more confirmed cases will be found with the release of the test results.

Toennies Food Company said that the outbreak of clustered infection may be related to Germany's recent contact with border control and re-allowing nationals to travel abroad. In addition, the ambient temperature in its workshop is also conducive to the spread of the virus. But the company stressed that it had done everything possible to prevent the virus from spreading from the company to the outside world. Toennies Food Spokesman Phil Stadt said on the same day: "We can only express our apologies."

Teslow County has asked all primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the county to suspend classes from the 18th. Adenauer, head of the county, said that he could understand the parents' dissatisfaction, but "it is better than the county closing down the city".

In the past month, there have been many outbreaks of collective infection in meat joint factories in northern Weizhou and other places. In early May, a cluster infection broke out in a meat factory in Kosfeld County, Northern Wei State, and more than 200 people were confirmed. Aggregation infection of different scales also broke out in meat factories in Bafu and Shihe states. Frequent cluster infections in this industry have also triggered a debate in Germany about the poor working conditions of slaughter workers.

According to the German "Time Online" report, as of around 19: 00 p.m. local time on the 17th, Germany had confirmed 189,178 cases, cured 173,557 and killed 9,016.
